First Baptist Church offers several Bible study sessions throughout the year. Please check this page often to see updates on the scheduled classes.
A Heart Like His: By Beth Moore. Seeking the heart
of God through a study of David is an exciting and intimate journey that
helps you to know King David, the man after God's own heart. On this journey
you will experience the ups and downs of the shepherd king, and you will
come to know and love his God in a new way. In this study, David will make
you laugh and cry. He will delight and disappoint you. He will make you want
to be just like him at times and nothing like him at others. He is sure to
capture your interest, if you let him. And God is sure to change your heart
... if you let Him.
We will have two
sessions: Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., beginning
January 17th, or Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., beginning
January 18th. The only cost is your workbook for $ 16.00. These will be
available at the session. Child care will be provided. Facilitated by
Barbara Roberts.
