Vacation Bible School June,2007

Pictured here are the Children and Teachers who attended this year's Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Washington, Ga. Our theme for this year:

"Game Day Central -- Where Heroes Are Made."

Our Bible verse is Hebrews 12:1-2

"Run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus,

the source and perfecter of our faith." (Holman CSB)

Our VBS Cheer:

The Baptist Bible School that we all now enjoy as Vacation Bible School was actually started here at the Washington First Baptist Church in 1920 by Pastor and Tiger Football Coach Homer Grice. This year marks our 87th year of  sharing God's love through His Son Jesus Christ through Vacation Bible School. The offering that we received during the week has been dedicated to helping other churches conduct Vacation Bible Schools.
